39,455 or 44.51% out of 88,649 examinees that took the November 2008 Nursing Board Exam (Nov NLE) have passed, as announce by the Professional Regulatory Commission.

If rumors are true, the November 2008 NLE Results should be released second week of January. The November 2008 Nursing Board Exam had one of the highest number of examinees in the history of Nursing Licensure Examinations conducted by the Philippine Regulation Commission.
Despite a tough Nursing Board Exam, rumors are also flying that there will be more NLE Successful Board Passers this time, predicted to be over 50%, some even saying at about 61%.
If true, then it is way better performance than the June 2008 Nursing Board Exam where only less than 40% passed the NLE exam. With the current global financial crisis, we still hope that the new Nurses will find jobs, as previous reports showed that many Nursing graduates have a hard time finding jobs.

I was one of the examinees last November NLE 2008. Much I wanted that many of us would pass the said exam, my experience told me another thing. Based on our practice exams during the reviews, we used the questions of the previous board exams and they were a bit easier compared to the last NLE. I myself, I could not say for sure that I would pass it, but I’ll remain hopeful. I really don’t believe that we’ll have a 50 or more passing percentage; unfortunately, it’d be more believable if there’d be less than 30 passing percentage for November NLE 2008. It really hurts to say that because I may be one of not so fortunate, but this is just an objective observation based on personal experience. Anyhow, let’s just hope and pray. God bless all!

hei john…..lahat po ng exams mahirap….i took the exam june 2007,and if u were there,u will know how tough the exam was…anyweiz godbless to you and to all who took the exam last november 20008 NLE…MY prayers be with you all…The Agony of waiting and the feeling of passing…..

OMG, it’s been 2 months and a week of agony waiting for the result to be released! I hope they’ll release the result as soon as possible this February coz I really can’t wait any longer. It’s making me so nervous and stressful. But I am still hopeful that most of us will pass this time. God bless future RNs and hope that we’ll see each other in oathtaking ceremony. Whew!
